Why Firmatics exists

Law is the connective tissue of modern life. You buy a house, you start a business, you get hurt, you get divorced, you cross a border, you draft a will, a lawyer is who you call. For the firm answering that phone, every case is a referendum on whether expertise and access still work for ordinary people.
The work matters. The infrastructure behind how those firms reach the clients who need them does not match the work. Ask a ten-lawyer firm what their competitors spend on TV. They don't know. Ask who's growing fastest in their DMA. They don't know. Ask if their website is findable by the next generation of AI search. They definitely don't know.
The firms that do have better visibility usually bought it through years of agency retainers, internal hires, and expensive trial-and-error. Everyone else gets left to guess.

Why we're building this
Firmatics grew out of our real operator work.
Firmatics was born inside vine skills, the legal technology and operations team that helps law firms get more from Filevine through implementation, migration, training, support, integrations, and process improvement.
That work put us close to the real operating questions firm owners ask every week: where growth is coming from, what is breaking in intake, which systems actually get used, and which marketing decisions are being made with too little context.
vine skills is the parent company and advisory backbone. Firmatics is the product layer: Marketing Firm Score, Community, Market Intelligence, and Strategic Advisory built from the same operator conversations, data problems, and growth decisions.
We started deepest in personal injury because it is the most capital-intensive, visibility-dependent corner of legal marketing. The long-term work is bigger: bring clearer marketing intelligence to every practice area and every firm size.
This is the vine skills bench, the Firmatics product, and one shared belief: legal operators should not have to guess their way through growth.
